Island Park is the last stretch of Idaho before Yellowstone. We're an easy stop on US-20 coming or going — here's how to reach us from a few directions travelers arrive from.
From West Yellowstone, MT
Head south on US-20 for about 30 miles (roughly 40 minutes). We're on the right, inside Blue Buffalo Resort — a great first or last meal on a Yellowstone trip.
From Idaho Falls, ID
Take US-20 north about 75 miles (around 1 hour 30 minutes) through Ashton and up into Island Park. Look for Blue Buffalo Resort on the highway.
From Ashton & Last Chance
Continue north on US-20 into the heart of Island Park. We're right on the highway near Last Chance and Mack's Inn — no back roads needed.

Free, easy parking. There's plenty of room to pull off US-20 and park right at Blue Buffalo Resort — trucks, trailers, RVs and towing rigs included. No parallel parking, no meters.
Dine-in and takeout, no reservations needed. Pull up a chair in our warm, wood-lodge dining room with big windows and mountain views, or order online and grab it to go. We don't take reservations — just come on in, or call ahead and we'll have it hot and ready.
Family-friendly and traveler-friendly. As one of the few sit-down spots for pizza in Island Park, we welcome resort guests, road-trippers, anglers, snowmobilers and Yellowstone visitors alike. Big groups agree here — order a few pizzas to share and settle in.
